Crack climbing in Slovakia

Fakla’s Cracks, in Slovak: Faklove špáry, is an andesite sport climbing area worthwhile to check out, especially if someone wants to improve his crack climbing techniques. This rock climbing place is situated in Vtáčnik mountain range, which is part of the Western Carpathians, close to the villages Cígel and Lehota pod Vtáčnikom.

This is a unique crag, which means not a very typical andesite climbing. You can find here excellent finger cracks, hand cracks and layback cracks. Check some climbing photography.
